Getting Started
Cubr 3D is designed to be intuitive and easy to use. Here are the basics:
- Rotate a layer: Swipe directly on any face of the cube to rotate that layer
- Spin the cube: Use a two-finger drag to rotate the entire cube and view it from any angle
- Undo a move: Tap the undo button to reverse your last move
- Reset the cube: Tap reset to return the cube to its solved state
Challenge Mode
Test your skills with the built-in challenge mode:
- Tap the challenge button to scramble the cube
- The timer starts automatically when you make your first move
- Solve the cube as fast as you can
- Enter your name to save your time on the local leaderboard
- View the leaderboard to track your personal bests
Learning Algorithms
Cubr 3D includes 10 built-in solving algorithms to help you learn:
- Browse the algorithm list and tap any algorithm to watch it execute
- Adjust the animation speed in Settings to slow down moves and study each step closely
- Practice each algorithm until you can perform it from memory
Frequently Asked Questions
The cube isn't responding to my swipes?
Make sure you are swiping directly on a face of the cube, not on the background. Swipe in the direction you want the layer to rotate. If the cube is spinning instead, you may be using two fingers — use a single finger to rotate layers.
Can I reset my leaderboard?
Uninstalling and reinstalling the app will clear all leaderboard data, as it is stored locally on your device.
Does the app require an internet connection?
No. Cubr 3D works entirely offline. No internet connection is needed.
Does Cubr 3D work on iPad?
Cubr 3D is designed for iPhone. It may run on iPad in compatibility mode depending on your device and iOS version.
