This Privacy Policy describes how SoBytes Limited ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the YT Streamer iOS application ("the App"). YT Streamer allows you to live stream directly to YouTube from your iPhone.

Information We Collect

When you use YT Streamer, we access the following information through the Google/YouTube API:

• Google Account Information: Your name and email address associated with your Google account, used to authenticate your identity
• YouTube Channel Data: Basic information about your YouTube channel required to enable live streaming functionality
• RTMP Stream Credentials: Temporary streaming keys provided by YouTube to establish a connection to their streaming servers

How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected solely to:

• Authenticate your Google account and verify your identity
• Connect to your YouTube channel for live streaming
• Establish and maintain your live stream connection to YouTube
• Display your account information within the App for your reference

Data Storage and Security

Local Storage Only: All authentication credentials and tokens are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure Keychain. We do not operate any servers that store your personal data.

No Server-Side Storage: Your Google account credentials, YouTube data, and streaming keys are never transmitted to or stored on our servers. All data remains on your device.

Encryption: Data stored in your device's Keychain is encrypted using Apple's built-in security features.

Google API Services

YT Streamer uses the following Google API services:

• Google Sign-In: For secure authentication with your Google account
• YouTube Data API: To access your channel information and manage live streams
• YouTube Live Streaming API: To create and manage live broadcasts on your channel

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Third-Party Services

YT Streamer integrates with the following third-party services:

Data Retention

Your authentication data remains on your device until you sign out of the App or delete it. When you sign out or uninstall the App, all stored credentials are removed from your device's Keychain.

You have the right to:

• Access: View what data is stored by checking the App's settings
• Delete: Remove all stored data by signing out or uninstalling the App
• Revoke Access: Remove the App's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions

Children's Privacy

YT Streamer is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
